Dr. Noam Kochavi is the author, inter alia, of A Conflict Perpetuated (2002) and Nixon and Israel (2009), and editor of Détente and Its Legacy, a Special Issue of Cold War History (2008). His most recent article is "The Sino-Soviet Split," Blackwell's companion to the Kennedy Presidency (New Jersey: Wiley-Blackwell, 2014), 366-383. With an educational background in both History and International Relations, his principal fields of interest are diplomatic history and practice, US-Israeli relations, international negotiation and the ideational origins of foreign policy making.
