Felipe Sanchez
My name is Felipe Sanchez, and I am from Bogota, Colombia, but have lived in the U.S. for the past 15 years.
I obtained my B.A. in International Relations at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and decided to pursue a M.A. in Security and Diplomacy at Tel Aviv University.
I will start by saying that the administration was extremely helpful from the beginning, responding to my every inquiry. Although some of the courses overlapped with my undergraduate courses, nevertheless I have gained an insight into the Israeli perspective, one that I lacked before. Not being Israeli or Jewish, I studied in Morocco and now in Israel, to try to balance my perspective and be as neutral as possible.
The professors are renown lecturers who provide a new perspective in Diplomacy, military strategy, legal, and the Middle East in general. As I am unsure of what my future endeavors will be, I know that this degree will benefit me in whatever path I chose, be it the diplomatic route, or the security one.
